Ojai Mini Session | Ventura County Photographer

Updated: Dec 22, 2021

One of the things I love about my job as a lifestyle and portrait photographer is getting to know a little about each of my clients. I’m endlessly fascinated with human nature and personal stories. Everyone has a story and something they’re passionate about that moves them. It’s these little snippets of humanity that inspire me to tell stories through photography. With the start of the New Year, I’m excited to finally start sharing some highlights from a few of these stories from 2020.

Meet Christina, Will and Sparky. Originally from Minnesota, they moved to Ventura County when they were relocated to Southern California for work. Settling into their new southern California lifestyle, this lovely couple recently adopted Sparky, a rescue from the Camarillo Animal Shelter.

Always with an eye out for capturing emotion and genuine connections, it wasn’t difficult to spot the romance in this lovely couple. Christina and Will were naturally sweet and attentive to one another, no prompting required here. They were like a couple straight out of a Hallmark Movie! I think it shows in the images we captured.

Sparky was so responsive to prompts and commands that it was quite apparent that he had indeed adopted Cristina and Will as his humans. Truly adorable!

This little family was a such a dream to work with and I am so honored they booked me for their Holiday Mini Session.

Here are a few favorite photos from our session in Ojai …
